Georgia Drought Update – November 13 2011

Much of Georgia still experiencing ‘Extreme Drought’.

Not much change in this weeks update from two weeks ago. Since the last report, I picked up 0.15 inches of precipitation in Cataula. Hardly worth mentioning. The outlook for the coming months doesn’t show the southeast or Georgia getting much, if any relief. Drought conditions will persist through the coming months and may even become worse. Long range forecast show our area with below or equal chances of rainfall.

Here’s the most recent comparison showing little change November 1 through November 8

Current drought conditions throughout the southeast.
