Hurricane Irene Update – 6AM EDT August 25 2011

Hurricane Irene is acting up. The track once more has shifted to the West and now puts the center crossing the NC coast west of Cape Hatteras over the Pamlico Sound. Also, Once Irene makes landfall on the North Carolina coast and moves North, a second landfall on Long Island not too far east of New York City with a third landfall very near Bridgeport, CT. All of this is based off of current models and data. Be safe and if you know of someone in any of these areas, how about making sure they are aware of what’s taking place.
